So I am sure most of you have seen this little diddy going around on blogs and facebook, so here is what I apparently need according to google:

TRISHA NEEDS.......food, BADLY.
TRISHA NEEDS.......to rest when walking from one end of the mansion to another wing. (Who knew I had a mansion??)
TRISHA NEEDS......assistance getting up from any sitting or lying position. (Apparently my weight gain is getting more and more bottom heavy according to GOOGLE).
WOW....ANYONE SEEING A PATTERN HERE?????
MAYBE THIS POST IS TRYING TO TELL ME SOMETHING
TRISHA NEEDS.....to wakeup to herself.
TRISHA NEEDS.....help in Denver.
TRISHA NEEDS.....to go home and read the Bible & find out what it truly means to be a Christian! Her parents should be ashamed and so should Trisha.
TRISHA NEEDS.....a job.
TRISHA NEEDS.....to take an etiquette class.
TRISHA NEEDS.....the votes.

So there you have it.

I'VE GOT PEOPLE

It's February 21st and my taxes are done and filed!!
This is not meant to be any kind of advertisement, but I have come to the conclusion that there are some things in life that I think are worth paying extra money for......one of these being taxes.
People find it strange that I graduated from U of U with a degree in Accounting, but that I don't do my own taxes. I have done mine in the past, and they are really not that difficult or complicated, but when I do them, they end up taking me much longer than they should. I spend quite a bit of time just to make sure that I am plugging in all of the right numbers. Then after doing this I check my math several times. Then after checking my math I start to question whether or not I entered the correct numbers in the first place. So I usually end up starting all over just to make sure that the numbers I initally entered were correct. Yes, I realize this is strange, somewhat obsessive/compulsive behavior. Maybe I need some professional help. A few years ago I found a great lady that I love at H & R block and in 30 minutes my taxes are done and filed and I don't have to even think about them again for a year. All I have to think about now is how I am going to spend my refund.
Speaking of tax refunds......I know several people that try to figure out how to break even on their taxes because they "don't want the government making interest on their money." Personally, I LOVE getting a nice tax refund and thinking about all of the fun ways I could spend it. I could go on a trip, use it for some upgrades on my condo, buy me a new bedroom set, etc. In reality, I will probably pay off my car with this years refund. Sound exciting, I know, but for me this is exciting. I love not having a car payment and driving around in a car that I know has been paid-off.

MY VALENTNE'S GIFT

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ME!!
Knowing that I would not be receiving a Valentine's Day gift from a signifcant other, I decided that I would buy myself a gift.
I have been wanting to get some new bedding for a while now so I decided this would be the perfect occassion.
It is nothing fancy and I have never been confused as an interior designer, but it is always fun to get something new.
I brought me a new duvet cover for my down comforter, new chocolate brown sheets (they are super soft), and a fabulous microplush blanket that is also chocolate brown.
I LOVE to sleep and I spend as much time in bed as possible.
Every morning I wonder why I didn't go to bed earlier the night before??

**Amy....do you recognize the decorative pillow?? Thanks!

GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN

The year was 1985 and among Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, & Whitney Houston, one of my favorite cassette tapes was my Cyndi Lauper tape.
How fabulous was it that they decided to make a movie based on one of the greatest songs ever!

Who didn't love the movie "Girls Just Want to Have Fun?" I still do.

So I was cleaning my house today and turned on the TV just for some background noise. Okay, flashback to the 80's....... "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" was on. The memories came flooding back.

Shannon Doherty played the annoying little sister part perfectly, Jeff was such a hottie, Natalie was so easy to hate, & everyone was cheering for Janey and Jeff to win the dance-off on DTV (including J.P. Sands).

Ah.....the good ol' days!

WEBKINZ

For those of you that don't know about WEBKINZ....they are stuffed animals that come with a code. You then log onto the website to "adopt"/register your pet. There is so much to do on the website. You have to feed them and make sure they are happy. They come with one room, but you can buy additional rooms and add-on to your webkinz house. You can buy furniture, toys, clothes, food, etc. for your pet(s).
To be perfectly honest.....I think they are pretty much a big waste of time.

I always struggle with gift ideas for my nieces and nephews. Carlee and Halee both have a couple of webkinz and Dallin has one, so I had this great idea that I would get Jesika a webkin for Christmas. As I was shopping I found this hedgehog that I thought was adorable, but Jesi loves PINK and I didn't think she would have thought the hedgehog was as cute as I did. The only webkin I could find that was pink was this pig that I didn't think was very cute, so I decided I was going to go with the hedgehog. I got up to the register and the cashier was ringing me up when another employee walked buy and asked me why I was only getting one...."didn't they tell you that everything in the store is buy one, get one free?" They had a cute pink dragon displayed at the register that I hadn't seen when I was looking. The lady told me that was her 4 year-olds favorite. PERFECT! I ended up getting the "WHIMSY DRAGON" for Jesi and I kept the hedgehog for myself. His name is "Reggie." Jesi named her dragon "Pinkie."
As I mentioned before, I think they are kind of a waste of time. In order to earn money to buy different items for your pet(s) you have to either play games or answer trivia questions, etc.

The point of this post is that I find myself spending (wasting) too much time playing games to earn money. I like to buy things and them send them to my nieces and nephew. They can either keep these items or sell them them back and get $$ to buy whatever they want. Three of my favorites are ... one that is like tetris, one like bejeweled, one like mahjong. Pool is also fun.
